Goals of Our Time Together

Course Transcript

There are so many tips and tricks that you will be able to take away from the information I will share with you. But I have three main topics.

The first is position. Why does it matter? How does it help? And through this course you will gain the knowledge and be able to practice the skills of identifying if your child is using the appropriate position, and what to do if they are not.

The next section is on relaxation and breath work. In another in depth course, I speak more about how why this is important, and how uptraining the parasympathetic nervous system plays such a key role in stimulating our body’s ability to toilet. But in this efficient and get-to-the-point course, you’re going to have to trust me about the why here, and focus on the what. Breathing and relaxing allows certain muscles to get out of the way to allow poop and pee to pass out, and allows the bladder and bowels to do their job to get the pee and poop in a place where you can effectively allow them to pass out. I’ll discuss toileting mechanics, and what is and isn’t helpful to do with your body while on the toilet to get pee and poop out, and of course, what to look for in your child that might be hindering the whole process.

The last section is all about what pee and poop is made of. What goes in, comes out. And what we eat and drink has a huge impact on our digestive system and bowel and bladder health. I will talk about how we can support those systems and structures to work their best, and to identify if instead the current diet is inundating them with food and drink that makes it difficult to work. I’ll talk about priority additions and changes you can make in your child’s diet, and options for supplements to improve their bowel and bladder health, while avoiding longterm use of medications.

This course is going to be efficient. I’m taking out as much of the extra as I can to give you the briefest course possible, to get you to results faster. The extra explanations about why and how our body works, and how and why certain options I suggest as a provider - are all left out. This is purposeful. If you are a person who needs to know why things happen or why I’m recommending something, you may benefit from my longer, more in-depth course. But for you who said “yes” to this SOS course, you’re here to get results NOW. So sit tight, get out something to take notes on, and let’s get right into it.
